Projects That Tell Stories

Every building we touch has lived a life before we got there. Our job? Give it a damn good second act while keeping what made it special in the first place.

Distillery District Warehouse Conversion
Heritage Conversion

Old Mill Brewery Studios

Turned a 1889 brewery into mixed-use studios without losing the character that made people stop and stare. Kept the original timber beams, exposed the brick we found behind drywall, and added geothermal heating that'd make the original builders jealous.

Junction Manufacturing Hub

Client wanted efficient workspace that didn't feel like a prison. We delivered soaring ceilings, natural light from unexpected angles, and flexible zones that actually flex when they need to.

Church Restoration
Restoration

St. James Heritage Hall

1907 stone church that'd seen better days. Stabilized the structure, restored stained glass, added climate control that's invisible. Now it hosts everything from concerts to community dinners.

Railway Station Conversion
Adaptive Reuse

Central Station Market

Abandoned railway station from 1923 that became a food hall and event space. The ticket windows? Now coffee bars. The waiting room? Community gathering spot with the original schedule board still hanging there, just for kicks.

Liberty Village Tech Campus

Five connected factory buildings that needed serious help. Opened up the floor plates, punched in skylights where the roof could handle it, kept the crane rails as sculptural elements. Tech companies love it.

Office Building
New Build

Waterfront Professional Center

Ground-up office building that borrowed design cues from the old grain elevators nearby. Mass timber construction, rainwater harvesting, and views that make people actually want to come to the office.

Mississauga, ON • 2023
Bank Building
Heritage Adaptive

Commerce Bank Lofts

1912 bank with marble everything. Turned the vault into a wine cellar (obviously), kept the teller cages as room dividers, made the upper floors into residential.

Guelph, ON • 2021
Warehouse Loft
Conversion

Garment District Studios

Old textile warehouse that became artist studios. Industrial aesthetic but with proper insulation and windows that actually open. Go figure.

Toronto, ON • 2022
Public Building Restoration
Public Heritage

Old City Hall Cultural Centre

1895 city hall that'd been neglected for decades. We spent three years on this one - restoring terra cotta, rebuilding the clock tower mechanism, and making it accessible without compromising the original design. Worth every headache.
